Error When Starting Soy

Description
When I try to start up pysoy, it crashes with the following error message. It happens when attempting to create a screen object.
I've installed the beta2 module
"Xlib: extension "XFree86-VidModeExtension?" missing on display ":1.0"."
I'm running Ubuntu 7.10 ATI card w/ latest fglrx driver from the repositories Also using Compiz/Fusion?

The window code has been rewritten from scratch using GDK.
If you'd be willing, try this with the new code to see if it works for you. We're getting close to the next release.
