SummerOfCode/AnthusWilliams/OSXSupport
v2 v3 3 3 This isn't really part of my proposal, so much as a pain point I want to address. When I get a chance I (anthuswilliams) want to spend some time (~a week or so) building a .mpkg for OS X. It would package X11 with all of the dependencies needed to build libsoy. We don't really need !Cocao/Carbon support; a lot of open source projects (e.g. the GIMP) have been able to provide OS X support by packaging with X11, so I think that would be a good solution. 4 4 5 I was able to compile for OS X (Install/OSX)using this method, so I'm sure we can support it in a package. After the one-off package, I think it would be fairly easy to maintain it using nightly snapshots, similar to the way we provide Windows support now.5 I [wiki:Install/OSX succeeded] in building for OS X using this method, so I'm sure we can support it in a package. After the one-off package, I think it would be fairly easy to maintain it using nightly snapshots, similar to the way we provide Windows support now.
