where we load and save data

TransportLoop is an instance of soy._internals.LoopThread which calls each soy.transports.Transport object so that loading and saving can take place in the background. This allows Python's main thread to continue processing the game with minimal interruption when data takes a considerable amount of time to load or save.

This is especially important with network transports but is also useful for local File transports when many objects are being loaded simultaneously or when the medium is slow (ie, loading data from CDROM or DVD).
